Kurgat.

That Last Beam.

Still stuck in
my old ways of
stacking "hey!"
when the sun
seem to be
slowly fading
to the
after life.
Maybe I am
dumb not to
comprehend the
ticking nature
of time but still
sharp to fine comb
through
to that last
beam of either
a bestowing array
or a warning fray.

The Sunflow-her.

There she is in a
mustard dress
with beautiful
flowers as her
crown.
A queen from the
heavens with
rays cutting
through
my dark cloudy
thoughts heating
up the soaked
tears to steam up
my long lost engines
& moving gears.

The Last Petal.

There is love in
leaving,
there is love in
letting go,
there is love in
choosing your space
and sanity &
there is more love in
being honest and
leaving it right there.
For no matter how
long, short or
promising it was
it has served its
intended purpose.

“Cry You A River?”

Let my tears flow
and water the
tulips down by
the riverside.
Let it grow and
signify the depth
of love through
my eyes.
Let it grow two
petals in every
one plucked to
show how love
multiplies.
Let it reflect all
that couldn’t
be uttered by
my two lips
and unpack all
that’s been
on the very low
and
made my tears
flow.

A Solved Puzzle.

Just like the way the
jig saw-it-fit, I choose to
fix some magic out of it
with a balance the
sea-saw her fit
to anchor in my habour.
And with her calm sail
as the tides waved on
their final goodbyes, the
whales also kept on
popping up for a
glimpse of my newly found
Princess of Wales.
And as the sun slowly
faded leaving traces of its
beauty in the skyline, she
rose a son living in the
trenches to the beauty of
a fine dine.

“Oh! Lord..”

Please grant
me the serenity,
strength
and power to
fullfil all that I have
envisioned to the
people I love, the
multitude I’ll serve
& the souls
I’ll touch.

Oh! God, please
be my watch,
be my guide,
for in your
everlasting
shield is where I'll
forever hide.

A Rough Sail.

A tide of tears waving
through my chubby
cheeks, a sign of a
rough voyage through
the apparent
calm sea, that
seemingly runs
deep & moulds that
invisible inner self
guiding our
day to day.
And in every tide
came a lesson,
a clear vision
and
a life long purpose.
